Santa Croce Springs S.p.A(Joint-stock company) has been involved in the bottling of
mineral water since 1975.The company is a distributor for Santa Croce and Sponga spring water bottled in factories located in Canistro, in the province of Aquila.  The company is a member of MINERACQUA, the Italian federation of mineral water, spring water, and non-alcoholic drink industries. Even though it is an excellent product, up until the mid 1990’s Santa Croce Water was limited in its distribution to the regions of Lazio and Abruzzo. In 1995 There were investments made in the production and allowances were made for the implementation of new bottle sizes that the market demanded.  The quantities sold went from 16 million units in 1995 to 150 million units in 2003 thanks to  mass commercial coverage over the entire national territory. Since the 1999, Santa Croce has headed at the comparative publicity in order to put in prominence the own water characteristics: less sodium, less residue and less nitrate, gaining the comparison with main mineral waters. All that, to demonstration of the business will to make of the Santa Croce one of the companies leader of the domestic market and to express through the slogan “read to the label” the transparency, the seriousness and the quality of the product and of the company.
