Dry Residue
Santa Croce water has low a level of dry residue: only 173.3 mg/l
Dry residue indicate the quantity of salts that remain after having evaporated water at a temperature of 180o C.  A low dissolved solids content is an indicator of the lightness of water.

A low dry residue content has different effects:
- promotes diuresis
- promotes the elimination of uric acid
- prevents kidney stones
- reacts positively on the hepatic metabolism
- reacts positively on the renal metabolism Less dry residue, lighter water.
